Photos of the Day

While doing a prelisting inspection yesterday, I noticed that the stack boots were not properly installed. For those of you who do not know, the sides and upside edges need to be under the shingles. At first I thought that this was a fig Newton of my imagination, but upon closer review, I noticed that the new stack boots were installed over the old ones because the seals around the stacks were deteriorating.

Because the roof had so much wind damage from the storms and tornados that moved through the area a few weeks ago, I suggested that a licensed roofing contractor properly install the boots when the roof is repaired.

For those of you who like to fool with gadgets and widgets, the slide shows were done with PictureTrail which is another free on line slideshow generator.
